PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary band for care usable very easily and quickly and having high stability when a person to be cared is assisted. SOLUTION: Opposed side parts 12, 13 of a ring-shaped core material 10 displaying supporting force of a person to be cared and curved parts 14, 15 to be handles of a care worker are made to have an integral structure. An abutting body 20 in direct contact with the body of the person to be cared is disposed between the opposed side parts 12, 13. Therefore, when the person to be cared is going to perform a certain operation, the abutting body 20 is made to be abutted on a portion useful for the assistance of the operation, the care worker is required to only clamp and operate the handles and the band can be very quickly and easily used. The abutting body 20 is provided so as to contact an arbitrary portion of the person to be by plane instead of point and line and is supported by the pair of opposed side parts 12, 13 of the ring-shaped core material 10 which is formed integrally with the curved parts 14, 15 to be the handles. Therefore, strength of a belt material itself constituting the ring-shaped core material 10 is reflected on supporting force of the person to be cared, the band has high safety and both of the care worker and the person to be cared can use the band without anxiety.
