<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base ball wood bat which can favorably improve repul sion characteristic and durability and a method for production of the same which can produce the bat efficiently. SOLUTION: The ball hitting part of the base ball wooden bat is pressurized almost evenly in the circumference thereof to be compressed diametrically. In the production of the bat, there are arranged process to cut wood into a specified shape of work 22, a process to soften the portion corresponding to the ball hitting part of the work 22, a process in which the work 22 is forced into a cylindrical die 21 so that the portion corresponding to the ball hitting part is pressurized almost evenly the circumference thereof to be compressed diametrically, a process to dry the work 22 being forced in the die 21 and a process to release the work 22 from the die 21.</p> |
