PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion section of an endoscope to prevent the break of a bunch of optical fibers caused by the bending action of a treatment tool insertion channel without affecting functions of the endoscope. SOLUTION: A treatment tool insertion channel 10 is formed longer than the distance L between the fixing sections on both ends of the treatment tool insertion channel 10 with a flexible tube section 1 and a bending section 2 straightened up, and is disposed in a state of being stretched between the fixing sections on the both ends.
