PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protruded part forming apparatus for metal sheet of a constituting member of a metal external case, which has a simple working process and a short working time, reduces a weight of the case formed and minimizes its thickness, does not form machine screw, a press recessed part, etc., on the surface of the case and holds an excellent appearance, its manufacturing method and the metal external case. SOLUTION: The protruded part forming apparatus for a metal sheet is provided with a tight contact base 28, which is brought into tight face contact with a forming face 11a of a metal sheet 11 and has a through hole 56 at a prescribed position, and a coming in/out die 30, which moves as freely coming in/out toward the metal sheet 11 while sliding on a wall face of the through hole of the tight contact base and has a press contact part 60 and a recessed part 64 of a non press contact part 62, when the coming in/out die is brought into press contact by a press contact drive mechanism 34, the protruded part is directly formed to the metal sheet by the pressing force to only the coming in/out die section, the manufacturing efficiency is improved, further, the metal external case excellent in design sense is obtained.
