PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a ceramic shaped article using a powder shaping machine capable of forming the ceramic shaped article having sufficient practical strength without using a mold. SOLUTION: This method comprises building in a container of the powder shaping machine, a thin layer of ceramic powder material including water-soluble adhesive powder obtained by mixing the ceramics powder with the water-soluble adhesive powder, then forming a bonded powder layer of a predetermined pattern having physical bonds between the ceramics powders by coating an aqueous solution of the water-soluble adhesive according to the previously designed pattern in an ink-jet system, building the thin layer of the ceramic powder material including water-soluble adhesive powder on the surface of the bonded powder layer a and then forming a second bonded powder layer by applying the adhesive solution of the predetermined pattern in the ink-jet system, and then repeating the process to form a three-dimensional bonded powder article by laminating multiple bonded powder layers, and drying and then sintering the bonded powder article at a predetermined temperature. |
