PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible recording and displaying resin capable of giving a liquid crystal/polymer composite type record display layer which has excellent strength and heat resistance, further has adhesivity to its substrate and protecting layer, and scarcely lowers or loses its contrast even in a low or high temperature region. SOLUTION: This resin for liquid crystal/polymer composite type recording and displaying layer, characterized by comprising (A) an epoxy compound and (B) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer polymer, wherein (A) the epoxy compound is dispersed in (B) the polymer in a particulate state.
