PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, which has a favorable recording sensitivity to laser light having a wavelength of 660 nm or more for DVD-R, is excellent in characteristics such as percentage modulation, jitter or the like through the regeneration with laser light having a wavelength of 620 to 690 nm and has a light interference layer, the recording power of which is small, and is suitable for the recording and regeneration using the laser lights having the above wavelengths. SOLUTION: As the above optical information recording medium, an exampled one has the light interference layer made of a pigment layer including an indolenine-based tri-methine-based cyanine pigment, which is obtained by condensating benzene rings to the 6, 7, 6', 7' of the indolenine skeleton such as being had by 1,1'-dialkyl 3,3,3',3'-tetramethyl 6,7,6',7'-dibezoindo carbocyanine perchlorate. Further, the light interference layer is suitable for being recorded with the laser light having the wavelength of 660 nm or more and can be regenerated with the laser light having the wavelength selected from the range of 620 to 690 nm. |
