PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which has a unified operation process and does not give a stress to the player by smoothing the operation. SOLUTION: The slot machine is designed to allow the player to credit the medals, to begin its play by the operation of the start switch and to pay back the medals if two or more figures displayed on the front face are aligned to a predetermined certain effective award line when two or more rotating reels are halted. The slot machine has an automatic medal injecting means which automatically reduces the credited medal instead of the player's actual injection of a certain number of medals for the next play, under the condition of the end of the previous play and the operation of the start switch.
