PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a feeling of touching a bottom under the buttocks of a passenger by reducing the thickness of the pad of a seat cushion. SOLUTION: In the seat cushion 1, an opening 32 having a shape corresponding to the contours of the buttocks of a passenger is formed in an under-buttock- region on the rear half of the bottom surface of a panel frame 3, and an elastic member 5 is stretched across the opening 32 to allow the member 5 to elastically deform following the compressive deformation of the under-buttock-region of a pad 2 due to the weight of the crew-member, preventing him from having a feeling of touching a bottom.
