PURPOSE: A method for adjusting the color temperature of a plasma display panel(PDP) is provided, which can adjust a color temperature of the PDP without decreasing a gray level of the PDP. CONSTITUTION: A/D converters(11A-11C) performs an A/D(Analog/Digital) conversion of each signal level of R(Red),G(Green),B(Blue) among an input image signal. Gamma conversion parts(12A-12C) performs a gamma conversion using a reference table to change a light-emitting brightness of each digital signal of R,G,B in a straight line. A light-emitting sub field selection part(13) selects a sub field corresponding to each digital signal of R,G,B which are gamma-converted. A drive part(14) drives a PDP(15) according to the number of gray levels of the sub field selected by the light-emitting sub field selection part, and a color temperature selection part(16) displays a gray level. |
