PURPOSE: A multipurpose printer is provided to obtain various types of printed articles by performing direct printing and to compact structure by excluding a carriage drive motor and a line feed motor. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose printer(200) comprises a base frame(32) on which a linear gear(31) is installed horizontally, a mounting unit(33) formed on the upper end of the base frame and reciprocating along the linear gear of the base frame, an ink cartridge installed in the mounting unit, and a control circuit(35) installed in a printed circuit board of the mounting unit and controlling the spraying action of the ink cartridge corresponding to the position change of the mounting unit.
