PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal display information converting method and a terminal capable of easily extracting applicable display level information and allocating a display level when a summary and details of information are displayed. SOLUTION: First, original information is read in the terminal (S1). Next, the display level is easily allocated and setting of the original information is reflected by allocating the display level to the information by making use of attributes such as character size owned by the original information (S2). Next, stages of display levels of each piece of information are distinguished and displayed upon reflecting the stages of each display level by setting display attributes of each piece of information (S3). Next, the information is converted into that of a fixed form having the display level and display attributes (S4) and a file is created (S5). Thus, the information at the applicable display level is easily extracted from the file when the summary and the details of the information are displayed by converting the information into the one having some stages of display levels.
