<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of rapidly processing for the detection of an obstruction and accurately judging a plurality of obstructions. SOLUTION: When first and second receiving antennas receive the reflected wave of a frequency-modulated transmit signal, mixers 16, 17 generate first and second beat signals respectively on the basis of the first and second received input signals. The first and second beat signals are respectively converted into digital values by an analog-to-digital converters 18, 19 and frequency-analyzed by a DSP 20, and frequencies of almost the same azimuth out of the frequencies of power spectrum larger than the threshold value, selected from the power spectrum in both first up-blocks and second down-blocks of the first and second beat signals are selected as first and second obstruction candidate frequencies. The DSP 20 detects the obstruction candidate frequencies of almost the same azimuth as a pair from the first and second obstruction candidate frequencies to compute relative distance and relative speed.</p> |
