PURPOSE: A taping machine is provided to automate the sealing process of a tape in high speed as well as to protect the nozzle of an ink cartridge from impurities during the sealing process. CONSTITUTION: A taping machine seals the printer head of an ink cartridge. The taping machine contains; a base frame(110); a pair of vertical frames(120) vertically formed in both ends of the base frame; a support frame(130) supported by the vertical frames; a piston guide(210) formed in front of the support frame; a piston(220) pressing a tape on the head of the ink cartridge by moving in the piston guide, with a piston body, a head groove and a pressing rubber; a piston cylinder(230) combined the end of a cylinder rod with the upper portion of the piston body and moving the piston downward or returning the piston according to air supply; a rotator(310) comprising a disc, four ribs and a latch plate, in the lower portion of the piston guide; a nozzle supporter rotatively installed on the same shaft as the disc and the latch plate of the rotator, with a latch rotating the latch plate at a specific angle by being hung on the sill of the latch plate after a rotation; a pressing nozzle(330) pressing a tape on ribs according to air supply from the nozzle supporter; a supporter cylinder rotating or returning the nozzle supporter according to air supply while the cylinder rod is hinged with the side of the nozzle supporter; a tape guide(410) separated from the ribs of the rotator; a tape reel(420) supplying the tape to the tape guide; a cartridge frame(510) supporting the ink cartridge on the base frame; a contact switch(520) outputting a cartridge installation signal when the ink cartridge is installed in a cartridge frame; and a control box(710) commanding air supply to the supporter cylinder and the pressing nozzle by a taping preparation signal and commanding air supply to the piston cylinder by the cartridge installation signal.
