TAXI FARE CALCULATION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi fare calculation system which can provides the taxi fare data with extremely high convenience and without using any interface compared with a conventional system where an interface must be especially used between a taxi fare meter and an AVM(automatic vehicle monitoring system) device when the fare data are sent from the fare meter to a base station. SOLUTION: A GPS(global positioning system) receiver is provided on a taxi and also a management device is installed at a base station for calculating the taxi fare from the position information on both customer get-in and get-off time. Then the taxi fare is calculated by the management device from those received position information.
