PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for electrophotography and an electro photography device, using the processor capable of generating an image reproduc ing data of CMY, enabling reproduction of an image with the reproduction target density from RGB image data, corresponding to CRT gamma characteris tic. SOLUTION: In an image processor for processing color conversion from an inputted gray scale data of RGB color space to the gray scale data of CMY color space and converting from the gray scale data of CMY color space to an image reproducing data by a half-tone processing, a gamma characteristic A (G54) of an output density, corresponding to the gray scale of RGB color space, becomes equal in performance to a gamma characteristics B (G68) which corresponds to the gray scale of CMY color space at the half-tone processing. Then, by the printing using the image reproducing data, the color of the designed image is reproduced with high fidelity, and an image of high quality is printed. |
