PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording and reproducing device whose recording processing time is shortened, and an information recording and reproducing device in which an excessive current flow to a semiconductor laser is prevented. SOLUTION: Power calibration in the optical information recording and reproducing device is performed in accordance with the device state, and further, laser deterioration or laser destruction is prevented by suppressing the supply of an excessive current to the semiconductor laser. |
