PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information receiver and an information reception method that can configure a system, where reply information with high convenience for a service enterprise can be obtained and the service enterprise can provide services to viewers on the basis of the reply information by providing a mechanism of two-way replies under view conditions of the viewers for viewing programs for a prescribed time. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a program information receiving section, that receives a program and condition information being a condition of viewing the program, a display section that displays the program received by the program information reception section, a reply input receiving section that receives a reply input to designate the program, a condition information discrimination section, that discriminates whether the reply input satisfies the view condition denoted by the condition information, and an information reply information output section that provides outputting of information reply information for specifying the program under the reply input, when the reply input satisfies the view condition denoted by the condition information.
