PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional shape processing method capable of even processing plural external boundary curves which are actually discontinuous through they are treated as one continuous external curve in shape data of a closed trim rotation surface. SOLUTION: Whether or not the external boundary curves provided as one external boundary curve are continuous is checked (S2), when they are not continuous, the shape data of the boundary curve is divided at a discontinuous position, each of the divided pieces of data is defined as an independent boundary curve (S3), whether or not the boundary curves are separated is discriminated (S4), when they are separated, whether or not geometric information of the boundary curves on both adjacent side at a separated point is common is confirmed, when they are common, they are connected by using the geometrical information (S5), when the shape data of a set of the closed boundary curves is obtained, the boundary curves are expressed by bisecting the surface of revolution in the peripheral direction (S6) and a surface of revolution division processing is executed by using the continuous external boundary curve when the external boundary curve is continuous (S7). |
