PURPOSE: A vehicle muffler is provided to prevent environmental pollution by decreasing pressure and temperature of exhaust gas and to reuse the waste heat of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas generated in an internal combustion chamber flows into a water cooled muffler(10) through a first exhaust pipe(11a) and diffuses by a wide space(26) of the water cooled muffler. While passing through many holes of a first exhaust pressure dispersing plate(13) and a first exhaust gas dispersing plate(14), pressure and noise of the exhaust gas are reduced. A cooling water pipe(17) is installed between barriers(23) of a water cooled muffler. Thus, the high temperature exhaust gas passing through a muffler exhaust pipe(16) is refrigerated by the cooling water circulating through the cooling water pipe. Many heat emitting plates(18) are attached around the cooling water pipe and the muffler exhaust pipe to easily emit heat to the air. Therefore, environmental pollution is prevented. The waste heat of the exhaust gas is used for keep the room of a vehicle warm.
