A STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING A TERMINAL STRIP FOR USE IN ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure by which a terminal strip of an electro luminescence device is firmly mounted and fixed. SOLUTION: On an electrode 7 to apply a voltage, a conductive bond layer 8 wider than the width m of a metal terminal strip 9 is provided. A metal terminal strip 9 is mounted on the conductive bond layer 8 and then covered with a resin film 31 together with the layer 8. The resin film 31 is welded being pressed by the flat projections on the horn head of an ultrasonic welder forming plural dimples 31a to secure the metal terminal strip 9. The metal terminal strip is bonded and fixed to the conductive bond layer with the strip's both sides biting into the bond layer being covered with the resin film. Thus, firm mounting and adhesion fixing of the metal terminal strip is obtained.
