PURPOSE: A credit card service system and method is provided to issue a credit card including a code image with specific information included, and to offer various services according to the information embedded the code image. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of decoding a code image by using a decoder program stored in a user terminal and extracting a server address from the decoded data(62), searching data in relation with the code data from a code database(63), performing a user approval process and offering services wanted by the user, e.g. a network access service, an advertisement & event information service, a personal data service, an electronic commerce service, a banking service or a certification service if the user terminal is connected to the server(64), and enabling the user to pay for a service by using credit card data(65,66). In the payment step(65,66), the user can input a credit card number with an effective period and a card owner name or swiping the credit card in a card processing terminal.
