PURPOSE: To automatically set an URL for obtaining the relevant information of terms included in a message text carried on an electronic notice board. CONSTITUTION: In this electronic notice board system, inter-user computer information exchange is mediated by an information electronic notice board function by communicating through a network with the user computers. In this system, a glossary under consideration in which plural terms selected as necessary are stored so that proper URL can be made correspond to those terms is attached, and the text of a message transmitted from the user computer of a person who wants to carry a message is checked by collating this with the glossary under consideration. When any term in the glossary under consideration is not included in the message text, the message is carried on a notice board, and when any term in the glossary under consideration is included in the message text, the message is converted into a hyper text with the URL made correspond to the term as the destination of link so as to be carried on the notice board.
