METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPENSATING IMAGE REMAINING IN AMORPHOUS SILICON IMAGE PICKUP DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for compensating the image remaining in a digital imaging system. SOLUTION: This method includes the sampling of image data from a digital detector after the end of 1st irradiation and the modeling of attenuation of a remaining image. According to the modeled attenuation, different attenuation of the remaining image is predicted. The predicted attenuation is used to correct or compensate the remaining image which attenuates in the succeeding irradiation. This method is suitable especially for the compensation of the remaining image by fluoroscopy irradiation which is carried out in succession to radiography irradiation by a digital X-ray system.
