PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile which has an application quantity measuring zone of a paint applied to the tile surface and allows the frictional force or gloss value of this measuring zone to be simply measured, and a method of evaluating the paint application quantity to obtain an adequate application quantity of the paint from the frictional force or gloss value. SOLUTION: A roof tile A having overlay parts 1, 2 at the ridge top end edge and one side edge comprises an application quantity measuring zone 3 composed of a plurality of projective parts 4 on a part of the surface of the overlay part 1, and the frictional force and the gloss value of this measuring zone are measured to investigate the application quantity on the brick A surface and evaluate the quantity of the applied paint.
