PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system which enables devices different by communication systems to communicate data with each other without hindrance. SOLUTION: A repeating terminal device is provided with an ID storage means where an ID code to be recognized by a main controller is stored, a first transmission/reception means which transmits and receives data to and from the main controller through a signal line, a second transmission/reception means which transmits and receives data to and from a device-side controller, a data storage means, and a terminal-side control means which controls data transmission/reception between the data storage means and both transmission/ reception means, and the terminal-side control means writes data, which is received from the device-side controller in a general communication system through the second transmission/reception means, in the data storage and transmits data in the data storage means to the main controller in response to a data request transmitted from the main controller through the first transmission/reception means.
