PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece with a music box which is small in size and is increased in sound pressure. SOLUTION: The music box 12 is mounted to a resonance board 14. The resonance board 14 is provided with a resonance chamber 16. When this music box 10 is housed into a timepiece casing 2, the resonance chamber 16 is so located as to face sound holes 6 of the timepiece casing 2. The sound pressure is increased by the resonance of the resonance board 14 and the resonance chamber 16. The resonated and loudened sounds are released from the sound holes 6 facing the resonance chamber 16. The sound pressure of the sounds released from the sound holes 6 in the manner described above are increased to the extent that the sounds are usable as alarm sounds of an alarm clock.
