PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver in which electrification control for EMM receiving is performed even when a power source is turned off (standby state) for a long time. SOLUTION: A system controller 7 receives data showing an electrification control period designated by EMM and stores these data in a memory 13. The system controller 7 monitors the electrification control period by a timer function. When this electrification control period is detected, the system controller 7 suppliers power to a BS digital circuit part by controlling a power source switch 8 by a power source control signal, outputs an EMM receiving instruction to a BS digital circuit part system controller 5, stops supplying power to the BS digital circuit part by controlling the power source switch 8 by the power source control signal after the lapse of prescribed time and turns into standby state. |
