PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter capable of accurately measuring flow rate even in a pipeline for generating a backward flow. SOLUTION: Pressure that is generated at a forward dynamic pressure measuring pipe 2, a backward dynamic pressure measuring pipe 3, and a static pressure measuring pipe 4 is converted to current by a pressure converter 5, and current corresponding to the pressure of the forward dynamic pressure measuring pipe 2 and the static pressure measuring pipe 4 is inputted to a flow rate arithmetic unit 6 to calculate forward flow rate. On the other hand, current corresponding to the pressure of the backward dynamic pressure measuring pipe 3 and the static pressure measuring pipe 4 is inputted to a flow rate arithmetic unit 6' to calculate the backward flow rate. The output of the flow rate arithmetic units 6 and 6' is inputted to integrators 7 and 7', and the output of the integrators are inputted to a differential arithmetic unit 8 to output the difference. The output of the differential arithmetic unit 8 is read at a specific time interval by a control device that is not shown. Then, the control device resets the integrators 7 and 7' when reading is completed.
