<p>A mobile communication network adapter includes therein a radio port and a device port. The device port is physically connectable to a radio mobile communication device such as a cellular phone. The radio mobile communication device can communicate with a network content provider through a base station. The device port can be connected to an apparatus such as a television receiver. The adapter further includes an upstream protocol stack for creating Internet protocol data. The Internet protocol data is transmitted to the network content provider through the upstream communication line, the radio mobile communication device, and the base station. The network content provider transmits the network content to the device through a downstream communication line according to the Internet protocol data.</p> |
