PURPOSE: A receiver drier of a heat exchanger is provided to braze a receiver drier in a furnace integrally with keeping a filter in the receiver drier of a heat exchanger and to prevent the filter from being carbonized or molten in the brazing process. CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower cap(11,12) are mounted on the upper and the lower portion of a body(10) of a receiver drier(6) respectively to support a pressure switch(9) and a couple of inlet and outlet pipes(7,8). An upper and a lower filter(13,14) made by ceramic or activated carbon as well as a drying agent(15) are mounted on the inlet pipe(7). The filters are kept in each Al case having the outside cladded. The cases are fixed by calking grooves, and the receiver drier is brazed integrally in a furnace to fix the filters closely in the body. A support member for supporting the inlet pipe is formed in the center of the cases having the cladded outside. The lower portion of the body is closed by a sealing unit, and plural fitting holes are formed on the sealing unit. The inlet and the outlet pipe are reduced, calked, sealed and fixed to the fitting holes. In addition, the filters are mounted stably through the support member in the center of the Al cases.
