PURPOSE: A power withdrawal device of a plasma display panel is provided, which can perform a high speed addressing. CONSTITUTION: The power withdrawal device(50) comprises the first switch(S1) and an inductor(L) connected serially between the first address driving part(36A) a source capacitor(Cs), and the second and the third switch(S2,S3) connected in parallel between the inductor and the first address driving part. The first address driving part comprised the fourth and the fifth switch(S4,S5) connected between the power withdrawal device and a panel capacitor(Cp). The panel capacitor is equivalent to an electrostatic capacity formed between address electrode lines. The second switch is connected to an address voltage source(Vd), and the third and the fifth switch are connected to a ground voltage source(GND). The source capacitor is charged with a voltage charged in the panel capacitor during an address discharge and resupplies the charged voltage to the panel capacitor. The inductor forms a resonant circuit together with the panel capacitor. The fourth switch is turned on when a data pulse is supplied, and is turned off when the data pulse is not supplied. |
