TRANSFER ROLLER CLEANING DEVICE FOR PRINTER

PURPOSE: A transfer roller cleaning device for a printer is provided to remove foreign matters from a surface of a transfer roller by applying a roll brush instead of a cleaning roller. CONSTITUTION: A transfer roller cleaning device includes a frame(53) which is mounted at the side of a transfer roller, and a roll brush(51) which is rotatably supported by the frame and contacts with the transfer roller while being parallel with the transfer roller. A blade(55) is fixed to the frame and contacts with brush(57), so as to remove a toner from the brush when the roll brush rotates. The length of the roll brush is equal to or more than that of the transfer roller. The brush of the roll brush is formed in a screw shape. A driving means(59) for rotating the roll brush includes a motor(67) and a pulley(63) which is connected to a motor by a belt(65) and coupled to an end of the roll brush. The driving force of the motor is transmitted to the roll brush through the belt and the pulley.
