The arrangement has a cross-bearer on which a panel (1) is held by at least one holding device (3). The panel is fixed to the vehicle by connecting arrangements on both sides. Holding devices mounted on the panel at both longitudinal ends are associated with holding devices on the cross-bearer, preferably at its ends. The connecting devices are preferably separate connecting blocks (19) that can be aligned longitudinally and/or vertically.
