PURPOSE: A multi-functional oil cylinder for an air conditioner is provided to inject refrigerant oil conveniently when a worker repairs an air conditioner equipment, to distinguish the color of the refrigerant by checking the refrigerant flow with the naked eye and to remove oil by separating the oil from the refrigerant without discharging the refrigerant out of the air conditioner system if a large amount of oil is supplied or the color of the oil is bad. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional oil cylinder consists of an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The outer cylinder has the transparent case with an oil level scale(4) for measuring the amount of refrigerant oil to be charged exactly. The inner cylinder has an orifice on a partition in the middle to inject refrigerant flowing through a service valve(9) of a low-pressure manifold gauge(10). When refrigerant of a high-pressure air conditioner system flows to the low pressure through the manifold gauge, the refrigerant is injected to the outer cylinder from the orifice of the inner cylinder. A large amount bubbles are generated if a large amount of refrigerant oil is injected. The amount of bubble is decided in proportion to the amount of refrigerant oil. Thereby, the amount of refrigerant oil is checked. A worker can check the abrasion of an air conditioner compressor through the color of the air conditioner system oil. If the oil color is not clear, the refrigerant oil is separated from the refrigerant by a vortex generated from the flowing refrigerant. A safety valve(7) connected to an oil injection port prevents an accident caused by a damaged vessel by removing the inner pressure when the high pressure is supplied by user's mistakes.
