PURPOSE: A locking device for a door is provided to release locked state by using first and second locking bars, and to maintain the locked state through constraining the first locking bar by using a solenoid. CONSTITUTION: By rotating a rotor(60) toward a clockwise direction by using a door handle, a hook(70) and an interlocking rod(44) combined to an extending end(66) and a circumference gear(64) to the clockwise direction. Thus, a first locking bar(30) and a second locking bar(40) are inserted to a housing(22) for opening a door. Herein, position of the first locking bar is detected by a detect rod(56a) of a limit switch(56) for being transferred to a control unit. By releasing the handle, the second locking bar is returned to an initial location by a second spring(98) for protruding a front end from a second through hole(28''). Moreover, the rotor is rotated to a counterclockwise direction through the interlocking rod and an interlocking link(48) for being returned to an initial location. By converting into a door locking mode, the control unit supplies power to a solenoid(80). A rod(82) overcomes force of a pressing spring(84) for being inserted. Moreover, a rotating link(90) combined by a connect pin(86) is rotated centering upon a rotating pin(94). Thus, a hanging sill(32) is released from a hanging end(70a) while returning the first locking bar to the initial location by a first spring(96). Thus, a front end is protruded from a first through hole(28) for maintaining the locked state of the door.
