Injection-moulding fabrication method of a fan housing and housing for a fan

This ventilating fan casing comprises main body with cover (25), the latter having a main air passage (28). Main casing (1) and cover (25) are plastic injection moulded. In this new design, in a further stage, a soft plastic seal (17) is injected onto main casing (1) and/or cover. This may also fill screw holes (23) and cable entry (21). Pref. The seal is made between the outside of a rim running around the main casing, and the interior surface of a rim around the cover. Pref. a further seal is made around the air inlet opening and its continuation as an air duct of the main body. Provision is made to mount an electric motor, and a cover for the duct, with a further soft seal.
