Improved linear motion actuator

摘要

A cage-like support (3) which is axially free mounts threaded shaft (1). A nut (5) arranged at right angles to threaded shaft, vibrates sinusoidally in two perpendicular directions with appropriate phase shift in between. The actuators (4) rotationally displace line of contact (10) between threaded shaft and nut so that shaft and nut are linearly displaced. An Independent claim is also included for controller.
