METHOD FOR CARRYING PHOTOCATALYST ON POROUS GLASS MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a porous glass membrane carrying a photocatalyst, showing excellent catalytic activity, and to provide a method for carrying the photocatalyst on the porous glass membrane. SOLUTION: In this method for carrying the photocatalyst on the porous glass membrane, the photocatalyst is carried on the pore surfaces of the transparent porous glass membrane by reacting oxidative gas or hydrogen sulfide with the glass membrane while allowing reactant gas to pass through the glass membrane or after the passing of the reactant gas.
