PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting installing structure of a lever guard installable while maintaining quality and rigidity while moderating dimensional accuracy in manufacturing. SOLUTION: The lever guard 7 is arranged so as to surround the front of a handle grip 3 and an operation lever 5, and a grip end side end part 7b of the lever guard 7 and a handle rotating shaft core side end part 7a are supported by a handle lever 1. The handle rotating shaft core side end part 7a is fixed, for example, to a front end part of a bracket boss 10 welded in a forward projecting shape to the handle lever 1 by a bolt 12 from the front. A diametrally contractible clamp 15 is formed in the grip end side end part 7b. The clamp 15 is fitted to the handle lever 1 to be fastened in the radial direction by a bolt 20.
