PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a synthetic resin container using a toggle link clamp, constituted so that a female mold is formed between a plurality of peripheral wall plates and one fixed bottom plate and a molten synthetic resin is inserted in the cavity between the female mold and a male mold to form the synthetic resin container having a predetermined shape. SOLUTION: A first arm, which has an elbow shaft, the fixed shaft connected to a fixed bottom plate attaching member and the drive shaft connected to a drive device, and the crank link shaft connected to a peripheral wall plate attaching member are provided and the second arm connected to the first arm through the elbow shaft is provided and the first arm is revolved around the fixed shaft by driving the drive shaft of the first arm by the drive device and the second arm is revolved centering around the crank link shaft accompanied by the revolution of the first arm and, when the female mold having a predetermined shape is formed by a plurality of the peripheral wall plates and one fixed bottom plate, the toggle link clamp is clamped.
