PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified asphalt for road paving that can restrict phase separation between the asphalt modifying agent and asphalt to a sufficient degree in the content range for practical use of the asphalt modifying agent. SOLUTION: A styrene oligomer, a polystyrenated phenol and a compound having a benzothiazolyl skeleton are, as a phase-separation preventing agent, blended with straight asphalt and an asphalt modifying agent at a specific ratio.
