PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a slide fastener lock in a locked state simply by inserting a spare key into a lock box. SOLUTION: The slide fastener lock comprises the hollow lock box having respective openings at front and rear ends, a slide lock plate slidably mounted into the lock box, and the plate-like spare key that is freely inserted into the lock box and slides the slide lock plate to the opening at the front end at a release time. The tip of the slide lock plate is provided with a locking projection for locking a handle of the slide fastener at a locking time.
