PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pull out only the upper steel piles without troubles and also to erect the upper and lower piles together by coupling and suspending them all together. SOLUTION: This joint construction comprises a joint steel plate 30 projected out from the end portion and fixed to the lower pile (steel pile) 10, a through-hole 33 formed to a projected portion from the end portion of the steel pile 10 of the joint steel plate 30, a through- hole 33 formed in the projected portion from the end portion of the steel pile 10 of the joint steel plate 30, and a through-hoe 23 formed to the projected portion from the end portion of the upper pile (steel pile) 20, and a coupling member (wire) 40 inserted to both the insert holes 23, 33 in a state where the end portion of the upper pile (steel pile) 20 is overlapped to the joint steel plate 30. In this way, after connecting the upper pile 20 to the lower pile 10, the upper pile 20 is erected, thereafter, the coupling member (wire) 40 is pulled up and the wire is pulled out from the insertion holes 23, 33, and when required, the upper pile (steel pile) 20 can be easily pulled out. Also, to the joint steel plate 30 prepared and fixed to the upper end portion of the steel plate 10, the lower end portion of the other steel pile 20 is overlapped and the coupling member 40 is inserted to both the inserting holes 23, 33, and the upper and lower piles 10, 20 are set to the coupling state, and the upper and lower piles 10, 20 in the coupled state are suspended and erected together.
