PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a cover member opening/closing the entrance of a fixing device in an electrophotographic recorder. CONSTITUTION:In this electrophotographic recorder, the cover members 40 and 40 which become a sheet guide when they are opened and which close the entrance 31 of the fixing device 24 when they are closed are provided to be freely opened and closed in the fixing device 24 fixing a transferred image on a sheet by applying heat and pressure by means of a fixing roller 37 and a pressure roller 38. When the cover members 40 and 40 are closed, they close the entrance 31 of the fixing device 24, and when they are opened, they are used as the sheet guide so as to guide the sheet to enter the fixing device 24. |
