摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preliminarily saturating carbon dioxide to reduce foaming, improved in further reduction of foaming, further increase of bottle-filling speed, and also loss of carbon dioxide which is extremely increased during a decompression process, each of which the conventional method for preventing foaming has not overcome. SOLUTION: This method for preliminarily saturating carbon dioxide to reduce foaming comprises the following steps: (a) providing drinking water containing oxygen or air each dissolved therein (optionally, this drinking water has already been mixed with a syrup or the other raw materials), and a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure is maintained in the space above the drinking water; (b) sufficiently maintained the pressure above the drinking water while saturating the drinking water with carbon dioxide so as to prevent the gas from coming off the drinking water, and thereafter feeding the resultant mixture to a process (c), wherein, the pressure above the drinking water is sufficiently maintained so as not to release the carbon dioxide from the drinking water, and then (c) removing the dissolved oxygen or air from the mixture produced in the process (b), and concurrently dissolving carbon dioxide in the mixture and a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure is maintained above the mixture.
