PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for double-side printing capable of rapidly double-side printing at a low cost without manufacturing an intermediate product and without necessity of a wide installing place. SOLUTION: The apparatus for double-side printing comprises front surface holders 12a-1, 12a-3 for holding one surfaces of a sheet 50 outward, a form rotating means 12 for alternately aligning and rotating rear surface holders 12a-2, 12a-4 for holding the other surfaces of the sheets 50 outward, a form supply means 11 for supplying the sheets 50 to the holders 12a-1, 12a-3, a sheet inverting means 16 for inverting the sheets 50 held by the holders 12a-1, 12a-3 to hold the sheets by the holder 12a-2, 12a-4, and a printing means 13 for printing the sheets 50 held and rotated by the holders 12a-1, 12a-3 and the holders 12a-2, 12a-4. |
