PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables economical production of a glass fiber base material phenol molding material which is excellent in molding stability with the content of fine powder reduced. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the glass fiber base material phenol molding material comprising at lest a process for blending raw materials, a process for kneading the mixture, and a process for crushing the kneaded mixture, a process for grinding the glass fibers protruded from the surfaces of crushed particles and a process for granulating the treated particles are included.
