PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round ratchet wrench capable of determining, at first glance, that a switching plate is positioned on the tightening side or the loosening side. SOLUTION: This round ratchet wrench comprises an inner-periphery teeth provided at an annular section formed at the tip of a body handle capable of being operated to the right and left by hand, a segment cam engaged and disengaged with/from the inner-periphery teeth, being stored in the annular part, a spring for pressing the segment cam in such a direction to engage it with the inner-periphery teeth, being mounted on a drive body, and a switching character having an arrow indicated on a cap at the tip of the switching plate provided at the front end of the drive body.
