PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having both a firm fixability on a paper and a high cohesive strength of an adhesive film without causing the wear or falling off of the adhesive during running through a printing machine or printer, etc., and a pressure-sensitive sheet using the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is obtained by compounding an adhesive base prepared by compounding a methyl methacrylate graft-copolymerized natural rubber-based adhesive mass with a specific amount of a specified styrene-rich SBR latex and/or a polystyrene emulsion and/or a styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion with respective specific amounts of an oil absorbing particulate filler and a spherical particulate filler exhibiting the nonaffinity for the adhesive base. The pressure-sensitive sheet is obtained by using the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.
